Fargo Courier, a leading logistics company in Kenya, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Executive to join their Freight Forwarding Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage client relationships and coordinate shipment logistics while working with a dynamic team in Nairobi.

Customer Service Executive Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination of shipment logistics, invoicing, and documentation. This position requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain strong client relationships while supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Executive will be responsible for:

• – Managing comprehensive export bookings and coordinating with key stakeholders including Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), shipping lines, and government agencies
• – Preparing detailed quotations for various shipping services including exports, imports, transit, and project cargo shipments
• – Coordinating with international agents to ensure proper documentation and timely delivery
• – Developing and maintaining client business profiles while monitoring account growth
• – Handling shipment documentation, tracking, and status updates
• – Managing claims and damages with relevant stakeholders
• – Preparing commercial reports and monthly analysis for C&F activities

Essential Requirements

Candidates should possess:

• – Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics Management, or a Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding/Shipping
• – Minimum 6 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry
• – Strong knowledge of customs legislation and import/export documentation
• – Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• – Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
• – SAP and KESRA certification (added advantage)
