Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya (CHS) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Administration & Logistics Officer to join their team for the USAID-funded TB ReSET project in Nakuru. This 5-year initiative aims to strengthen Kenya’s tuberculosis control efforts and reduce TB incidence and mortality.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administration and Logistics Officer will be responsible for providing effective daily administrative and logistical services for the USAID-TB ReSET Activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Coordinate project administrative activities
- – Manage reception and customer service
- – Organize workshops and training events
- – Prepare meeting minutes and maintain event calendars
- – Provide logistical support for project activities and staff travel
- – Ensure compliance with organizational travel and safety regulations
- – Manage office facilities and utilities
- – Liaise with finance team for invoice processing
- – Monitor service level agreements
- – Manage inventory and store supplies
- – Coordinate vehicle and driver schedules
- – Oversee vehicle maintenance and insurance renewals
- – Maintain asset register and conduct physical verifications
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent
- – Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in office management, preferably with a health-oriented NGO
- – Proficiency in MS Office tools and office automation solutions
- – Certificate in Secretarial duties or front office operations (advantageous)
- – Working knowledge of USG rules and regulations
- – Strong written and verbal communication skills
- – Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- – Inventory management experience
- – Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- – Working knowledge of ERP systems
