• Provide class support and train primary school teachers in the use of digital literacy devices.
• Support implementation of the Digital Learning Programme.
• Carry out innovations that enable schools to improve their use of digital learning.
• Provide support on the safe, secure and ethical use of technology in learning.
• Assist teachers by integrating ICT into the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Support staff with the development and production of key school policies and procedures.
• Provide first-line support and maintenance of ICT services in schools.

Duration and Stipend

The Digital Literacy Programme internship will run for twelve (12) months and is non-renewable. Interns will receive a stipend from the State Department for Basic Education at a rate determined by the Government.

Certificate

Interns who successfully complete the Digital Literacy Programme internship will be awarded a certificate by the State Department for Basic Education.

The application deadline is 5th October 2026. Successful candidates will be deployed to schools at Sub-County level and must be willing to serve at any Sub-County Education Office on a full-time basis.
