<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>

<li>Implement fraud investigation and anti-corruption policies, guidelines, strategies, and plans.</li>
<li>Analyze data on financial records, systems, and processes.</li>
<li>Undertake comprehensive audits at the University.</li>
<li>Conduct stocktaking, risk assessments, corruption risk assessments, and anti-corruption awareness activities.</li>
<li>Review internal controls, evaluate adequacy of systems, and recommend improvements.</li>
<li>Carry out audit checks, identify accounting errors, and perform spot-checks and cash surveys.</li>
<li>Undertake audit investigations and follow-ups on implementation of audit recommendations.</li>
<li>Assess compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and other statutory guidelines.</li>
<li>Implement Quality Assurance and Improvement Programme (QAIP).</li>
<li>Consolidate primary audit reports/queries on the University’s financial statements.</li>
<li>Carry out compliance tests and monitor and evaluate audit reports.</li>
<li>Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>

<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Minimum six (6) years’ cumulative relevant work experience, including three (3) years at Assistant Internal Auditor Grade 9 or equivalent.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution.</li>
<li>Certificate in Part II of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Part II of CPA, Part II of ACCA, or equivalent from a recognized institution.</li>
<li>Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).</li>
<li>Proficiency in relevant computer applications.</li>
</ul>
