Pharmaceutical Technologist Job Description

The Pharmaceutical Technologist is responsible for performing complex diagnostic tests and analyses on clinical specimens to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• At least one year of internship or relevant laboratory experience.
• Registration and valid license with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
• Trained in Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in clinical research or specialized laboratory diagnostics.
• Additional certifications in laboratory safety, clinical trials, or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of international laboratory standards and best practices.
