Job Description – Bartender Jobs on Cruise Ships

The Bartender plays a vital role in ensuring that guests enjoy high-quality beverage service in various venues across the ship, including lounges, specialty bars, poolside bars, and during special events. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, prepare requisitions for supplies, and ensure efficient stock management in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area according to USPH (United States Public Health) and company standards.
• Adhere to ServSafe responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensure guests are served safely and appropriately.
• Participate in bar-related training sessions and special events, including parties, tastings, and celebrations hosted onboard.

Required Qualifications – Hospitality Jobs in Global Locations

• Completion of basic education (high school diploma or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Bartender in an upscale bar, hotel, resort, or aboard a cruise ship.
• Knowledge of ServSafe responsible alcohol service or equivalent beverage service certifications.
• Familiarity with USPH rules and regulations or international hygiene standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training in hospitality, mixology, or beverage management.
