Job Description

The Regional Cash Operations Supervisor will lead and manage all contractual and ad-hoc cash services in the Western Region of Kenya. This leadership role is anchored in Kisumu and will directly oversee the operations of the Kisumu Cash Centre, ensuring adherence to financial targets, customer satisfaction, and strict compliance with G4S’s safety and operational protocols.

This role is well-suited for a strategic and hands-on leader with a deep understanding of secure cash handling, cash logistics, and operational risk management. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience and the ability to manage teams, systems, vehicles, and client relationships efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all technical cash services, including Cash-in-Transit (CIT), ATM replenishment, and cash processing activities in the Western Region.
  • Directly oversee the Kisumu Cash Centre, ensuring the proper functioning of vaults, safes, and cash processing machinery.
  • Lead regional staffing efforts, ensuring optimal manpower utilization and superior customer service delivery.
  • Supervise the regional fleet of armored vehicles, monitoring maintenance, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and G4S for regional cash operations, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational responsiveness.
  • Implement and monitor company policies, with a strong focus on Health and Safety compliance.
  • Conduct regular site audits and visits to reinforce best practices, identify training gaps, and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Form 4 certificate (KCSE or equivalent).
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in cash operations, with direct exposure to commercial cash centre functions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cash handling, ATM reconciliation, and claims processing procedures.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Office and intermediate financial reporting abilities.
  • A valid driver’s license with good driving history.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or tertiary qualification in finance, security management, business administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with cash management technologies and logistics software.
  • Training or certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) or risk assessment procedures.
  • Previous experience working with multi-client cash centres in high-security environments.
