Job Description

The Chairperson of the Internal Audit Committee provides independent leadership and strategic oversight of the ODPP’s governance, risk management, and internal control systems. • Ensure timely preparation and circulation of accurate committee meeting minutes.

Required Qualifications

• Kenyan citizenship.
• At least an undergraduate degree from a recognized university in a relevant professional field.
• Membership in a recognized professional body in good standing.
• A minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience at senior management level in one or more of the following areas:
  • Audit and assurance
  • Financial management or accounting
  • Risk management
  • Legal practice
  • Public procurement
  • Civil society or governance-related work
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic oversight, and governance expertise.
