About this opportunity

KAM, under the Sustainable African Value Chains Initiative (SAVI) program, seeks a qualified consulting firm to serve as Lead Technical Consultant providing one-on-one post-training technical support to 19 companies on EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance. The assignment covers diagnostic assessment and enterprise profiling, advisory on traceability and geolocation systems, due diligence system design and risk mitigation, preparation of Due Diligence Statements (DDS), and capacity building for management and supply chain teams. Deliverables include an inception report and diagnostic framework, individualized enterprise diagnostic reports, traceability and risk assessment toolkits, draft DDS and compliance portfolios, and a final comprehensive program report. The assignment runs over 3 months starting 1st November 2026. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a related field, at least 8 years of experience in sustainability consulting or supply chain traceability, proven EUDR expertise, and demonstrated geospatial/GIS proficiency.
