Vida Shoes International is hiring a Remote Customer Service Representative based in Mombasa, Kenya to join their growing international team. Since 1973, Vida Shoes International has established itself as a global leader in footwear design, production, and marketing, leveraging extensive international resources to create quality branded footwear.
About the Customer Service Representative Role
As the company expands its ecommerce customer service operations, they’re seeking a dynamic and friendly Customer Service Representative to support their international customer base. This full-time remote position offers excellent growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding customer service team.
Key Responsibilities
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support through various channels:
- – Managing order fulfillment and release processes using Shopify and proprietary systems
- – Processing customer returns through integrated systems efficiently
- – Handling customer inquiries via phone and email regarding sales orders, returns, and product information
- – Delivering positive, empathetic, and professional customer interactions
- – Collaborating with brand management teams to address customer concerns and improve service delivery
Required Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- – Native-level English proficiency with outstanding communication skills
- – 2-3 years of proven ecommerce customer service experience
- – Strong problem-solving abilities and calm demeanor under pressure
- – Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in PC/Mac environments and Microsoft Office
- – Excellent multitasking capabilities and organizational skills
- – Previous Shopify experience (advantageous)
Technical Requirements
- – Personal computer with reliable internet connection
- – Ability to work Eastern Standard Time zone hours
- – 40-hour work week availability (Monday-Friday split schedules and alternating Sundays)
Compensation & Benefits
- – Monthly salary: $400 – $550 (based on experience)
