Data Scientist, Product, Android Growth

Google is hiring a Data Scientist to provide quantitative analysis and strategic insights to support their Android product growth initiatives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Perform statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying using SQL, R, Python
• – Extract insights from data to solve business problems and make recommendations
• – Gather, extract, compile and validate data from multiple sources
• – Apply understanding of business priorities and analytical techniques
• – Develop working relationships for cross-team collaborations and product understanding
• Minimum Qualifications:
• – Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or quantitative field
• – 1 year experience in statistical data analysis, data mining, SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

• – 3 years experience with analysis applications (insights, stats analysis, business problems)
• – 3 years coding experience (Python, R, SQL)

As a Data Scientist at Google, you’ll help drive product growth by uncovering meaningful insights from data and communicating findings. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams, leveraging your passion for data and numbers.
