Depot Field Clerk

Key responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating the movement of goods, supporting loading and offloading activities, and ensuring proper documentation of cargo received and dispatched
• Prepare and maintain accurate depot, stock, dispatch, and receiving records.
• Coordinate loading, offloading, and movement of cargo within the depot.
• Maintain proper records of dry and wet cargo, including relevant supporting documentation.
• Liaise with drivers, transporters, suppliers, customers, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth cargo movement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Customs Administartion, Freight Forwarding, or a related field.
• Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in depot operations handling dry and wet cargo.
• Experience in handling liquid bulk cargo such as petroleum products, oils, chemicals, or similar products will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of cargo documentation, stock records, dispatch procedures, and inventory control.
