Job Description

As a Digital Editor & Content Creator, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, reviewing, and editing digital content for social media platforms, websites, and publications. Your role will play a key part in driving audience engagement, brand visibility, and content alignment with Metropol’s digital strategy.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop innovative content strategies to engage target audiences on digital platforms.
• Create and edit compelling infographics, social media creatives, and digital assets.
• Manage daily operations across digital channels including posting, scheduling, and responding to interactions.
• Craft stories and campaigns that increase brand engagement and audience reach.
• Track content performance using analytics tools and optimize based on insights.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in content creation or digital marketing roles in Kenya.
• Experience working in a media, corporate communications, or agency setting preferred.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Familiarity with video editing tools is an added advantage (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut).
• Photography and videography skills – ability to shoot, edit and produce visual content.
