About the Digital Sales Strategist Role

This role is tailor-made for individuals with a blend of digital acumen, customer service finesse, and a passion for life and pension products. The Digital Sales Strategist will report to the Senior Officer – Alternative Channels and will be central to driving online insurance sales and client engagement across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Excellence

  • Engage potential and existing clients via email, social media, live chats, webinars, and virtual meetings to promote life insurance and pension products.
  • Guide customers through the complete online sales journey, from inquiry to policy acquisition.
  • Provide tailored insurance solutions by explaining complex insurance concepts in a simple, relatable way.
  • Respond promptly to product-related queries, providing accurate and detailed information.
  • Manage policy renewals and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain updated CRM records, ensuring every lead and customer interaction is logged correctly.
  • Generate daily performance reports on digital sales KPIs, conversions, and engagement.
  • Use CRM automation tools for communication, follow-ups, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align digital campaigns with client feedback and performance analytics.
  • Attend regular training to stay informed on products, compliance standards, and digital selling skills.

2. Corporate Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations concerning digital sales and life insurance.
  • Safeguard client data in line with local and international data protection laws.
  • Adhere to Jubilee’s internal policies and ethical practices while engaging with clients online.
  • Escalate complaints, suspicious activity, or risks to the compliance or management team as necessary.

3. Culture & Collaboration

  • Promote an ethical, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, compliance, and customer service to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop personal growth plans aligned with Jubilee’s strategic goals and your career aspirations.

  • Excellent Communication: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.

  • Continuous Learning: Eagerness to stay updated on new technologies and insurance market dynamics.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a digital sales, call center, or e-commerce environment.
  • Professional certification in Digital Marketing or Sales is an added advantage.
  • Executive Certificate of Proficiency (ECOP) is a plus.
  • Experience in the life insurance or financial services sector will be considered an asset.
  • Track record of meeting or surpassing digital sales targets and managing customer relationships online.
