Position Overview:

The Ecosystem Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations across Tiko’s ecosystems in Kenya. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to Tiko’s mission of improving youth access to sexual reproductive health services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ecosystem Support and Management:

  • – Serve as the primary point of contact for all actors across Tiko ecosystems
  • – Respond to and resolve first-line non-technical inquiries via phone, internet, and other channels
  • – Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams
  • – Conduct regular in-person check-ups with actors across the country

2. Branding and Compliance:

  • – Ensure correct branding implementation at all actor locations
  • – Provide support and guidance to address compliance issues

3. Field Team Coordination:

  • – Collaborate with other field teams to ensure smooth and effective operations
  • – Facilitate communication and information sharing between teams

4. Fraud Prevention and Mitigation:

  • – Identify, prevent, and respond to potential fraud within ecosystems
  • – Flag and report suspicious activities or breaches of code of conduct and standard operating procedures

5. Ecosystem Expansion:

  • – Map and set up new Tiko ecosystems
  • – Identify, contract, and onboard new actors

Requirements:

  • – Current residence in Kilifi, Kenya (mandatory)
  • – Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a related field
  • – 2-3 years of working experience in a similar area
  • – Experience in educational programs (mandatory)
  • – Familiarity with cash transfer programs
  • – Proficiency in mobile technologies, messaging, and application use
  • – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • – Strong problem-solving abilities and innovative mindset
  • – Team player with a collaborative approach
  • – Salesforce experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

Tiko believes in transparency, including when it comes to salaries. The monthly salary range for this position is Ksh187,800 – Ksh280,000 gross per month, plus benefits. The exact offer will depend on the candidate’s level of experience and how it relates to future colleagues.
