Responsibilities of the Jambojet First Officer

Under the general direction and guidance of the Chief Pilot, the First Officer is responsible for conducting flights in full compliance with KCARS and Jambojet standards. This includes:

• – Ensuring the safety and security of crew members, passengers, and cargo from pre-flight to post-flight
• – Assisting the PIC in the responsibility of the aircraft’s operation, safety, and security
• – Adhering to specific aircraft type procedures, limitations, and performance
• – Contributing to an exceptional passenger experience and maintaining operational efficiency

Key Accountabilities of the Jambojet First Officer

• – Conduct operations while strictly adhering to KCARS and Jambojet standards, including procedures, limitations, and performance for the assigned aircraft type.
• – Assist the PIC by supporting the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo on board when the aircraft doors are closed.

Authority

• – Make decisions on risk tolerability when risks are acceptable.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• – Bachelor’s degree in progress (Aviation, Transport Management, or related discipline)
• – Knowledge of basic aviation operations
