Manager

Climate Finance, Climate Risk & Sustainability is hiring for the Manager position. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Bachelors; experience: 5 – 9 yrs. KPMG is a global network of professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services.

Our East Africa practice comprises Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

The Nairobi office serves as the regional coordinating office providing the required networking to facilitate delivery of services on a timely basis to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core assignments in climate and sustainable finance, climate and ESG risk management, sustainability strategy and transition planning.
• Manage engagement economics, scope and change requests; manage specialists and subcontractors; escalate delivery, quality and commercial risks appropriately.
• Review work products before senior review, ensuring that advice is evidence-based, practical and compliant with firm quality and risk requirements.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, risk management, engineering, environmental science, sustainability, development studies, public policy or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a related field such as sustainability, climate change, energy, natural resources management, environmental economics, finance, climate finance or development finance…
