Marketing and Communications Manager Job Description

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and managing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the Club’s objectives. This role requires overseeing all communication channels including the Club website, mobile app, newsletters, social media platforms, and internal communications. The position also ensures proper use of the Club’s corporate identity, brand consistency, and promotional campaigns that enhance visibility and member engagement.

In this position, the incumbent will manage internal and external relationships, coordinate with media outlets and advertising agencies, and provide strategic guidance to committees on marketing initiatives. The manager will monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and member feedback to optimize promotional strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and communicate monthly social events to members.
• Manage the events@muthaigagolfclub email and ensure professional communication with members.
• Coordinate and publish the Club’s newsletter in both print and digital formats.
• Oversee website management and the Club’s mobile app to ensure up-to-date content.
• Ensure integration of communication across online and offline channels and enforce data protection compliance.
• Conduct market intelligence and member satisfaction analyses for strategic planning.
• Monitor industry best practices and competitor promotional trends, advising the General Manager accordingly.
• Liaise with media, advertising agencies, and club committees to develop and implement marketing plans.
• Manage the Club’s events calendar, including weddings, conferences, and meetings.
• Design event posters, menus, and other promotional materials ensuring high-quality production.
• Coordinate community relations activities including CSR initiatives.
• Ensure efficient documentation, billing coordination, and post-event reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly and annual reports to the Marketing and Communications Committee.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of senior-level professional experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong graphic and motion-graphic design skills, with hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and brand communication.
