Nursing Specialist Job Description
The Nursing Specialist role supports advanced clinical nursing services within specialized care units across county healthcare facilities. Required Qualifications
- Served as Registered Nurse I for a minimum period of three (3) years.
- Higher Diploma in Kenya Registered Peri-operative Nursing or Kenya Registered Nephrology Nursing.
- Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Strong clinical expertise required for specialized nursing careers in Kenya.
- Ability to supervise healthcare teams and manage service delivery units.
- Knowledge of clinical research application and quality improvement processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in Supervisory Skills Course lasting at least two weeks from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in computer application skills.
