Position Overview

Watu Credit is seeking a dynamic Process Analyst to join their team in Nairobi. This role combines business intelligence analysis with process optimization, offering an exciting opportunity for ambitious professionals looking to make a significant impact in process improvement and data analytics.

Role Details

– Location: Nairobi, Kenya

– Position Type: Full Time

– Reports to: Head of Process

– Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day WFH, ~10% travel)

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis

– Develop deep understanding of business needs and processes

– Engage with business leaders to identify process gaps and changes

– Drive efficiency through process mapping and optimization

– Design and implement systems within Google Cloud Platform

– Conduct quantitative experiments to determine best practices

Team Development

• – Provide comprehensive training to operating teams
• – Support teams until they achieve self-sufficiency
• – Participate in daily morning huddles
• – Engage in weekly one-on-one sessions with management
• – Conduct regular side-by-sides with operating teams

Required Qualifications

– Proficiency in SQL

– Advanced spreadsheet management skills

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

– University degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or MIS)

– Experience with dashboarding tools

– Python programming skills

– Previous experience in business analyst roles or process improvement
