Now part of the MSC Group, the company operates in over 50 countries with more than 23,000 employees, delivering innovative and tailored logistics solutions that support Africas sustainable transformation.QHSE Officer M/FHealth and SafetyCarries out QHSE inductions for new employees, visitors and subcontractors.Follow-up of action plans related to HSE issues.Monitoring the various projects and sites and Contractor/ subcontractor activities.Check that equipment are correctly used as well as their certifications in accordance with Africa Q-HSE standards.Carry out Risk Assessment Process is done for all non-standard and critical operationsFollow up and analysis of statistics, health and safety reportsParticipate and deliver HSE monthly meetingCarry out daily on site audits and inspections as required on HSE procedures,Weekly for the site tours (minimum)Assessment of the Q-HSE management system continuously.Create HSE awareness and trainings /refreshing schedulePerform Incident/accident investigations, correctives action plan implementation and follow up,Implement and maintain all HSE signage & tagsCarry out and lead toolbox meetings and pre planning of all topics to be discussedEnsure conformity to all HSE legal requirementsAssist and follow up of HSE indicators and keep the recordsRequired on a monthly basis by the Q-HSE dptRequired by the entity and departmentsSupport the operations yard security and access control, cleaning and maintenance works team.Induct and continuously train the site yard traffic marshalls on the ground, give direction and obtain daily briefings of any non-compliances and actions tasks undertaken by yard marshalls for weekly reporting the management team.Report all operations nonconformities, deviations, areas for improvement in the AGL Progress platform.Implement defined HSE internal rules and standards, ensuring that they comply:the local and international regulations,and our clients requirements.Implement specific HSE plans for accident prevention and other specific operations,Continuously inspect to ensure that all operational sites are in compliance with the HSE rules.Provide Q-HSE technical support to the Mombasa warehousing, transport, IFF, Port, MCT site department.2. QUALITY Systems and Quality of Operations WorkMonitor the improvement issues in the Quality field and propose solutions to better monitor the processes.Follow-up and support Quality measures, correction of non-compliance and improvement action plan implementation.Prepare daily QHSE occurrence reportsParticipate Quality monthly meeting with the Quality Committee members to monitor the Quality in the entityAssist processes review at least every 6 monthsAudit the quality of the services of the subcontractors and control of the servicing processes.Stop any inappropriate, unsafe or dangerous activity, and inform Project Manager immediately.ProfileBachelors Degree in a Science related Field.Working knowledge of Management Systems e.g. QMS ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.NEBOSH will be an added advantage3-4 years working experience in Transport /Logistics, Oil and Gas Industry.How to ApplyApply through the Apply Now button
