Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Data Management and Analysis:
- – Develop and maintain data warehouses and business intelligence tools
- – Design data collection and reporting tools, including GIS databases
- – Analyze financial and programmatic data to inform risk assessment
2. Enterprise Risk Management:
- – Implement and oversee WV Somalia’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- – Advise Senior Leadership Team on risk mitigation strategies
- – Collaborate with departments to identify and report on functional risks
3. Compliance Oversight:
- – Manage compliance tracking systems and investigate violations
- – Support incident management and crisis response
- – Lead internal and external investigations as needed
4. Data Quality Assurance:
- – Oversee compliance checks for knowledge management policies
- – Lead data quality and program quality audits across regions
5. External Engagement:
- – Participate in relevant working groups on risk management
- – Engage with stakeholders to position WV as a thought leader in the field
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, GIS, Criminology, Law, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- – Minimum 5 years experience in compliance management and investigations, preferably in an INGO setting
- – Extensive understanding of statistical analysis, GIS, and data visualization tools
- – Proficiency in Somali language and understanding of local dynamics
- – Experience in financial processes, internal controls, and risk management
- – Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- – Ability to work in cross-cultural environments and manage diverse projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- – Master’s degree in a relevant field
- – Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- – Experience working in fragile contexts
