Job Description: Purpose and Impact

The primary purpose of this Risk and Compliance Officer vacancy is to carry out comprehensive risk assessments, analyze potential areas of vulnerability, and provide actionable recommendations and reports to management. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Risk Identification, Analysis, and Reporting

  • Prepare regular quarterly risk reports detailing the status of existing and emerging risks for senior management and the board.
  • Continuously research the internal and external risk landscape to ensure proactive risk management programs are established and effective.

  • Maintain an updated, company-wide inventory of all risk registers and ensure data integrity.

Compliance, Monitoring, and Advisory

  • Establish, monitor, and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide early warning signals.
  • Analyze financial transactions, internal reports, and operational data to uncover potential compliance issues or hidden risks.
  • Advise management on the development and refinement of policies, procedures, and control self-assessment tools in direct response to identified risks.
  • Conduct quarterly risk reviews of the company’s investments and business support processes.
  • Carry out investigations on the enterprise risk profile to certify adherence to internal risk standards and criteria.

Training and Culture Development

  • Design, create, and implement organization-wide risk awareness programs to foster a strong risk management culture.
  • Provide training and technical support to management and staff on risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in updating the core Enterprise Risk Management framework, policies, and guidelines to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications and Experience
