Job Description

Successful applicants will be deployed at Gituamba Plaza and other strategic sites in Ruiru. Key Responsibilities

For Security Guards

• Protect assigned premises through patrols, surveillance, and regular inspections
• Control access by verifying identification and ensuring secure entry
• Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents as needed
• Write and submit daily reports on activity, observations, and occurrences
• Follow all post orders, site-specific instructions, and company procedures

For Security Supervisors

• Lead and coordinate a team of security guards across various locations
• Ensure compliance with Smart Care Security’s operational standards
• Handle emergency incidents, client interactions, and routine briefings
• Monitor schedules, attendance, and guard performance
• Act as the main liaison between management and the guards under supervision

Required Qualifications

• Letter from your local Chief
• Letter from your religious leader (e.g., Pastor)
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the DCI
• KCSE Certificate (Form 4 level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the security industry or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of emergency procedures, first aid, or fire safety
• Training from a recognized security institution
• Experience from disciplined forces (e.g., military or police) is an added advantage
