Job Description

The Store Clerk HQ will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate receiving and dispatch of dry goods, while maintaining safe custody of stock and records in line with KWAL’s policies. This role plays a critical part in supporting the company’s supply chain efficiency, ensuring that goods move seamlessly across warehouses, depots, and distribution channels.

As part of the Supply Chain function, the Store Clerk HQ will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence, and adherence to industry best practices. The role provides an excellent opportunity for growth within a global organization, while working closely with experienced professionals in logistics, distribution, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive in-bound finished goods from other warehouses while confirming accuracy and condition in line with stock management policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all stock movements in the assigned warehouse using ERP systems.
  • Ensure accurate dispatch of outbound goods to depots, client duty-free outlets, and export markets as per invoices and stock transfer orders.
  • Conduct regular stock-takes (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and account for variances promptly.
  • Apply proper stock rotation principles, including FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry-First-Out), to minimize product expiries.
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse or inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office packages and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and the ability to maintain accurate financial and stock records.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles and optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced supply chain environment within the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Exposure to TPM or Lean practices in warehousing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and commitment to operational excellence.
