Test Automation Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• – Design, build, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions
• – Define a test automation strategy for key bank systems based on risk analysis
• – Guide developers to enable effective unit testing of code
• – Develop automated tools to expedite testing preparation and test case creation
• – Automate acceptance testing using tools for test execution
• – Analyze systems, identify problems, and work with teams to resolve issues
• – Determine what should be automated for maximum return on investment
• – Review system performance and implement improvements/metrics

Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• – 4+ years in Quality Assurance, with 2+ years as Automation Engineer
• – Strong knowledge of manual testing and software quality practices
• – Excellent programming skills in Python, Perl, Shell, Java etc.
• – Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, Cypress, Appium etc.
• – Understanding of Unix/Linux Operating Systems
• – Ability to communicate technical and user-friendly concepts
• – Strong analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills
• – Collaborative team player with keen attention to detail
