Job Overview
One Acre Fund is seeking a Corporate Operations Manager to lead operations for all their Kenya offices, residences, and guesthouses. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional, cost-effective services that enhance productivity, sustainability, and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities
- – Oversee daily operations to maintain quality standards and exceptional service provision
- – Implement and audit management systems to maintain performance standards
- – Manage asset lifecycle for space/work resourcing
- – Lead large and minor projects to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
- – Plan and deliver important Tupande and global events
- – Analyze expenditure and develop cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality
- – Foster team performance through mentorship and professional development
- – Promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture
- – Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all facilities
Team Management
The Corporate Operations Manager will oversee:
- – Corporate Operations Coordinator (1)
- – Facility Services Management Coordinator (1)
- – Senior Nairobi Administrative Supervisor (1)
Requirements
- – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- – 2+ years of work experience, including project management and implementation
- – Proficiency in complex spreadsheets (advanced functions) and databases
- – Strong organizational and efficient work management skills
- – Proven ability to build and lead cohesive teams
- – Excellent communication skills with colleagues and stakeholders
- – Fluency in English and Kiswahili
Additional Information
- – Location: Nairobi, Kenya (100% onsite, with occasional travel to regional offices)
- – Reporting to: Corporate Operations Manager within the People Division
- – Start Date: As soon as possible
