Job Description

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the overall management, organization, and efficiency of Transwide Pharmaceuticals Ltd’s Mombasa warehouse. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless pharmaceutical product storage, compliance with industry regulations, and timely order fulfillment to healthcare partners across Kenya.

Ideal candidates will bring a combination of leadership skills, deep knowledge of pharmaceutical warehousing standards, and hands-on experience managing supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the pharmaceutical warehouse, ensuring adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, accuracy, and product traceability using modern warehouse management systems.
• Implement and monitor warehouse policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of pharmaceutical products.
• Conduct regular stock audits and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain product integrity.
• Prepare and present warehouse performance reports to senior management, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations in warehouse operations.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and regulatory bodies as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical warehouse—a MUST for this role.
• Proven knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and pharmaceutical supply chain regulations in Kenya.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Certification in Supply Chain Management (such as CSCP, CIPS, or APICS) is highly desirable.
• Experience with advanced inventory management systems.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical quality assurance processes.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a regulated industry.
