Website Product Manager

One Acre Fund is hiring a Website Product Manager to manage their global website, act as a liaison with the web development agency, and execute the organization’s digital strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

Website Content Management:

• – Publish new content, keep existing content up-to-date (including data visualizations)
• – Manage user journeys, content translations, and conduct content gap analysis

Conversion Optimization:

• – Support A/B testing and optimization implementation

Analytics:

• – Generate reports on website performance, identify optimization opportunities

Website Strategy Development:

• – Support stakeholders in developing and executing the global website strategy
• – Advise on content, user journeys, and technical best practices

Technical Project Management:

• – Prioritize and manage the backlog of improvement work
• – Scope requirements for the web agency, manage new functionality requests
• – Oversee QA testing, bug testing, and integrations

Infrastructure Management and Support:

• – Manage hosting, support, maintenance schedule, and software integrations
• – Support decision-making around hosting, support, and integrations

Project and Stakeholder Management:

• – Act as the main point of contact with the web development agency
• – Lead coordination with internal stakeholders from Recruitment and Business Development teams

Requirements:

• – 3+ years of experience in digital marketing/communication, digital project/product management
• – Professional website content management experience (Drupal or WordPress)
• – Experience with third-party platforms and integrations within a website ecosystem
• – Stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience
• – Understanding of GA4, Google Search Console, and ability to turn data into actionable recommendations
• – Experience in project management technologies (Kanban a plus)
• – Experience developing and delivering a product improvement pipeline
• – Understanding of a website’s role in cross-channel strategies and user journeys
• – Experience managing website technical infrastructure (hosting, support, integrations)

Nice-to-haves:

• – Experience in technology and business-process change management
• – Experience with digital marketing activities (SEO, PPC, social media)
• – Experience evaluating web technologies for non-technical stakeholders
• – Experience with digital fundraising activities and strategies
• – Digital design and copywriting experience

Job Location: Kigali, Rwanda, or Nairobi, Kenya preferred (flexible within their countries of operation depending on work authorization)
