Puratos, a warm family company with a historical growth track record, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting production activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
Your Responsibilities
- Manually support production activities and assist production operators on the line
- Operate a working station with limited complexity or limited SKU/task variation
- Communicate information or issues on the line verbally or in writing
- Work on labeling and packaging finished goods for shipment
Puratos Key Duties
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) legal compliance and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, following food safety guidelines
- Apply food safety instructions and ensure quality and compliance
- Assist in the start-up, conversion, and monitoring of your area of responsibility
- Escalate technical issues according to the agreed escalation flow and support technicians during interventions
- Ensure a smooth transfer to the next shift
- Adhere to cost and productivity instructions within your area of responsibility
Requirements
- High School Certificate (KCSE)
- Ability to follow instructions and routines received through short explanations
- Forklift Driving License
- Capacity to understand safety and quality basic requirements and operate basic programs with repetitive tasks
