Understanding the ISK Scholarship Program

Program Overview

The ISK Scholarship 2025 targets low to middle-income Kenyan students who demonstrate exceptional academic promise but face significant financial constraints. Our commitment is comprehensive: we cover 100% of high school expenses, including:

  • – Full tuition for the IB Diploma program
  • – School admission fees
  • – Transportation (bus) fees
  • – Comprehensive educational resources

Eligibility Requirements for ISK Scholarship 2024

To be considered for the ISK scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan citizen
2. Financial Need: Proven economic constraints requiring substantial financial assistance
3. Academic Excellence: Strong academic performance in English language curriculum
4. Personal Qualities: Demonstrated leadership and commitment to community service
5. Age Requirement:

  • – Must be 14 years old by July 2025
  • – Completed Standard 8 or Year 9
  • – Eligible to enter Grade 9 in August 2025


6. Residential Requirement: Ability to reside in Nairobi with family or guardians throughout the scholarship period

Important Note: High school graduates are not eligible to apply for the ISK scholarship program.

The Application Process for ISK Scholarships 2025

Comprehensive Application Requirements

Applicants must submit a complete application package consisting of five essential components:

1. Scholarship Application Form

  • – Download the official ISK scholarship application form
  • – Include a copy of birth certificate or passport
  • – Ensure all sections are accurately completed

2. Written Tasks

Task 1: Narrative Statement
  • – Essay format (maximum 1 page)
  • – Introduce yourself to the selection committee
  • – Potential focus areas:
  • – Personal background
  • – Motivation for joining ISK
  • – Academic and personal aspirations
  • – Unique experiences or perspectives
Task 2: Extracurricular Resume
  • – Two-page maximum
  • – Detailed list of:
  • – Extracurricular activities
  • – Leadership positions
  • – Community involvement
  • – Special projects
  • – Academic awards and recognitions

3. Academic Transcripts

  • – Complete academic records for the past three years
  • – Comprehensive grade listing
  • – Detailed course information

4. Financial Information Form

  • – Detailed financial disclosure document
  • – Supporting documentation required:
  • – Bank statements
  • – P9 tax returns
  • – Mortgage documentation
  • – Additional proof of financial need

5. Confidential School Report

  • – To be completed by school head
  • – Submitted in a sealed envelope
