Headquartered in Mombasa with a major operations hub in Nairobi, the firm specializes in clearing and forwarding, warehousing, and multi-modal transport solutions across East and Central AfricaAccountantKey Responsibilities of an AccountantPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounting records are up to date.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.Manage cash flow and monitor company budgets.Prepare and facilitate statutory deductions and tax compliance.Support internal and external audit processes.Monitor transport operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, and fleet -related expenses.Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis to support decision -making.Qualifications & Experience of an AccountantBachelors Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.CPA (K) finalist or CPA (K) qualification is an added advantage.Minimum of four (4) years accounting experience in a transport and logistics company.Sound knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and statutory compliance.Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates should submit their application letter, detailed CV and copies of academic and professional certificates indicating “Accountant’‘ as the subject of the application.
