  • Coach farmers and MSMEs to strengthen technical, entrepreneurial, and financial skills.
  • Build and mentor farmer groups and networks to enhance collective action and improve access to markets and finance.

3. Financial Inclusion & Access to Markets

  • Introduce project beneficiaries to Equity Bank’s suite of agricultural financial products and guide them through onboarding.
  • Facilitate access to loans, savings, and insurance products tailored to agri-based enterprises.
  • Connect farmers and agri-enterprises to structured markets and relevant actors within the agriculture value chain.

4. Project Coordination and Reporting

  • Organize and manage field events such as field days, exchange visits, and stakeholder collaboration meetings.
  • Work with M&E teams to gather accurate and timely project data and track key performance indicators.
  • Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports for senior management.

5. Institutional Representation

  • Serve as a liaison between EGF initiatives and local government, NGOs, and development partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Horticulture, Animal Science, or a related discipline. Business or finance-related qualifications with agriculture exposure are also acceptable.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in agricultural development, extension services, or MSME support (for Officers); 5+ years for Senior Officers.
  • In-depth knowledge of agricultural production, sustainable farming practices, agronomy, and value chain dynamics.
  • Strong background in supporting micro and small businesses in rural contexts, including access to finance and market linkages.
