Assistant Customer Experience Officer Job Description – Customer Service jobs in Kenya
The Assistant Customer Experience Officer will support the delivery of quality customer service through Huduma Centres, contact centre channels, email, telephone, web chats, websites, and social media. The role involves responding to enquiries, recording customer issues accurately, following up on escalated matters, and ensuring customers receive timely assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle walk-in customers and respond to incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and social media enquiries.
- Capture customer enquiries accurately and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.

- Disseminate HELB publicity updates and relevant information when responding to customer queries.
- Manage reception desks and ensure customers are received professionally.
- Guide and direct customers to appropriate service points, departments, or communication channels.

- Assist customers using web chats, websites, social media, and other available digital platforms.
Required Qualifications – Customer Service careers in Kenya
- Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to work with digital customer service platforms.
- Strong public relations and customer service skills.
- Good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers from diverse backgrounds and locations.
