Assistant Director Supply Chain Management

NQCL is hiring for the Assistant Director Supply Chain Management position in Kenya. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Masters. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail; Applications close on 16 November 2026.

Coordinating development, implementation and review of Supply Chain Policies, procedures and guidelines;

Providing technical advice and support to the relevant stakeholders on matters relating to procurement process and procedure as guided by the relevant procurement laws and regulations;

Facilitating design of procurement processes and systems;

Guiding preparation of procurement plans in accordance with the budget process;

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring efficient procurement of goods, services and works;
• Ensuring registered suppliers list for the Laboratory is maintained and published on the Laboratory’s website and Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP)in accordance to executive order No.
• Ensuring reorder levels of store are maintained to facilitate smooth running of the Laboratory by replenishing stock in good time;

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in any of the following discipline: Purchasing and Supplies Management, Business Administration (Supply Chain Management Option), Procurement and Logistics, Commerce (Supplies Management Option), or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; OR…
