Primary Responsibilities

Business Development

• – Drive retail agent relationships to achieve premium targets
• – Manage business pipeline and quotation processing
• – Implement debt management standards
• – Establish and maintain agent service level agreements
• – Ensure renewal retention targets are met
• – Lead cross-selling initiatives
• – Coordinate head office agent activities

Market Intelligence

• – Conduct regular market research and analysis
• – Monitor competitor activities and market opportunities
• – Manage knowledge capital effectively
• – Stay current with industry developments

Financial Management

• – Execute debt management procedures
• – Control operational expenses
• – Manage event and promotional budgets

Required Qualifications

Education

• – Degree in:

1.   – Commerce
2.   – Insurance
3.   – Law
4.   – Business Administration

• – ACII or IIK (In progress or completed)
• – FETC in Business, Commerce and Management Studies

Experience

• – Minimum 5 years in Insurance Sales or Underwriting
• – Proven track record in retail insurance business development
