MSF East Africa is seeking a dynamic Career Management Team Lead to join their Field HR team in Nairobi, Kenya. This role is crucial in developing and implementing career management strategies for MSF’s international staff pool.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- – Participate in MSF EA’s Field HR strategy development
- – Lead Career Management strategy implementation
- – Develop and implement career management policies and procedures
2. Technical and Operational Management:
- – Coordinate regional and global talent pools
- – Ensure effective IMS information management
- – Collaborate with other MSF units and networks
- – Oversee IMS coordinator and senior leadership positions
3. Career Management:
- – Support and advise IMS on career growth
- – Engage with IMS to understand their needs and ambitions
- – Conduct annual IMS satisfaction surveys
4. Team Management:
- – Supervise and coordinate the career management team
- – Mentor and coach team members
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Studies, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- – Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in non-profit or international organizations
- – 2-3 years of HR or process management experience in an international context
- – Field experience with MSF or humanitarian NGOs (advantage)
- – Fluency in English (French and third language are assets)
- – Strong leadership and management skills
- – Cross-cultural awareness and strategic vision
- – Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Offer:
- – 7-month full-time contract in Nairobi, Kenya
- – Annual salary of EUR 31,216 (HQ Level 9)
