Clinical Officer – Role Overview

This Clinical Officer role at Equity Afya is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through accurate diagnosis, treatment, and management of common medical and surgical conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in line with approved clinical guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
• Registered with the Clinical Officers Council and MUST possess a valid practicing license.
• At least one (1) year post-internship experience in a public or private hospital.
• Over one (1) year working experience in a busy health facility.
• Strong knowledge and experience in non-communicable diseases (NCD) management.
• Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
