Aga Khan University’s Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health (CoEWCH) is hiring a Qualitative Researcher for the AIMIX Project, focusing on inclusive AI for obstetric imaging in resource-limited settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Conduct interviews (IDIs, FGDs, KIIs)
- – Transcribe and translate interviews verbatim into English
- – Recruit study participants ethically and efficiently
- – Ensure quality control in data collection
- – Compile comprehensive debriefing notes
- – Safely store audio files and safeguard study equipment
- – Review and edit transcripts for accuracy and quality
Requirements:
- – Minimum 3 years experience in qualitative research methods
- – Proven skill in conducting in-depth interviews, KIIs, and FGDs
- – Strong attention to detail and transcription accuracy
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- – Ability to work independently and in a team
- – Fluency in English and Swahili (spoken and written)
- – Knowledge of ethical guidelines for human participant research
