Position Overview:

The Corporate Sales Manager will play a crucial role in promoting and selling BuuPass’s travel management platform to corporate clients. This platform enables organizations to efficiently manage their bus, train, and flight bookings, facilitating easy reconciliation, improved budgeting, and effective implementation of corporate travel policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development and Client Acquisition:

  •    – Identify and target potential corporate travel clients across various sectors
  •    – Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the corporate travel customer base
  •    – Set up and optimize B2B sales processes, including implementing CRM systems, sales funnels, and creating effective sales materials

2. Relationship Management:

  •    – Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients
  •    – Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  •    – Provide thoughtful solutions and respond promptly to client queries

3. Sales Strategy and Execution:

  •    – Effectively communicate BuuPass’s value proposition through compelling proposals and presentations
  •    – Negotiate contract terms with clients and collaborate with legal compliance teams
  •    – Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote the platform

4. Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  •    – Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities
  •    – Prepare timely weekly and monthly reports for management
  •    – Collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation

5. Process Improvement:

  •    – Continuously refine and improve the B2B sales process
  •    – Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing client base

Qualifications and Skills:

  • – Proven work experience as a Sales Executive, Senior Sales Representative, or similar role in corporate sales, preferably within the Aviation, Travel & Tourism industry
  • – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • – Strong listening, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills
  • – Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • – Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • – Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • – Knowledge of travel agency operations, OTAs, and corporate travel management (a plus)

  • – Gross salary: KES 150,000 per month
