Data Manager – Kisumu

Kenya Medical Research – KEMRI is hiring for the Data Manager – Kisumu position in Kisumu. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Bachelors. Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, review, and maintain data collection tools, databases, and electronic data capture platforms, including ODK, REDCap, Epi Info, Excel, and other web- and mobile-based systems, including database creation, testing, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or related field Mandatory
• Proficiency in at least one software package (e.g., SAS/STATA/R/SPSS) for analysis and data cleaning use of package will be an added advantage Added Advantage
