Designer

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) is hiring a talented Graphic Designer to join their creative team. The job holder will be responsible for translating concepts into visually appealing and effective solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs that meet the bank’s needs and align with the Brand Identity.

Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for CBK’s communications material and collateral, creating and executing designs for assignments, including branding, material, and collateral review from concept to final deliverables.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• – Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, creating designs that effectively relay the intended messages and align with CBK’s brand guidelines
• – Effectively use design software and tools to create concepts and prototypes that meet the desired objectives
• – Provide support on CBK’s overall design philosophy and serve as the custodian of the Brand Book
• – Support in the periodical review of CBK’s design collateral and share insights
• – Keep up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies, proposing best practices for adoption
• – Adhere to design standards to ensure high quality of output and comply with CBK’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and related standards

Requirements

• – Bachelor’s Degree in a design-related field from a reputable institution or comparable qualification from a reputable design school
• – Extensive portfolio of design work, demonstrating wide knowledge of design tools and tasks
• – At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a large institution
