DIGITAL FORENSIC INVESTIGATOR

United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services is hiring for the Digital Forensic Investigator position in Nairobi. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Masters; experience: 5 – 9 yrs. Setting and ReportingThis position is located in the Investigations Division (ID) of the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) in Nairobi. The Digital Forensic Investigator will report to the Chief of Section in Nairobi.

The Digital Forensic Investigator may be required to travel to remote locations, at times for extended periods, to manage and conduct investigations.

Key responsibilities

• ResponsibilitiesWithin delegated authority, and under the direction of the Chief of the Section, the Digital Forensic Investigator will be responsible for the following duties:
• Plan, organize and conduct complex digital forensic investigations in cases of alleged misconduct, malfeasance, mismanagement, fraud, corruption, waste of resources, or violations of the Organization's regulations, rules and administrative instructions, in close cooperation with other investigative units, in accordance with ID/OIOS standard operating procedures and in compliance with organizational regulations and rules.
