United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services is hiring for the INVESTIGATOR – Temporary Job Opening position in Nairobi. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Masters; experience: 5 – 9 yrs. Setting and ReportingThe Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) is the internal oversight body of the United Nations. Established in 1994 by the General Assembly, the office assists the Secretary-General in fulfilling his oversight responsibilities in respect of the resources and staff of the Organization through the provision of audit, investigation, inspection, and evaluation services.

Key responsibilities

• ResponsibilitiesThe Investigator will be responsible for the following duties:
• Prepares complete and concise investigation reports and conducts post-investigation tasks;
• Support Intake services, which includes responsibility for the ID/OIOS hotline and initiation of new matters, analyzing jurisdictional authority, undertaking preliminary assessments, recommending disposition of matters, and corresponding and engaging with other offices relating to misconduct allegations implicating United Nations Peacekeepers;
