Jubilee Insurance is currently expanding their digital sales team and seeking a motivated Digital Sales Officer to join Jubilee Health Insurance Limited. This role reports to the Head of Bancassurance and Digital Channels and is based at their Nairobi headquarters.

Role Purpose

The Digital Sales Officer will play a crucial role in driving the company’s digital sales initiatives through telephone-based customer engagement, lead conversion, and relationship building. This position combines modern digital sales techniques with traditional relationship-based selling to achieve business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution and Performance

  • – Conduct strategic outbound calls to prospective customers
  • – Present comprehensive insurance solutions through effective telephone communication
  • – Provide detailed product explanations and benefits to potential clients
  • – Handle customer inquiries and objections professionally
  • – Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • – Transform leads into successful sales conversions

Lead Management

  • – Implement effective lead generation strategies
  • – Conduct thorough follow-up communications with prospects
  • – Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • – Convert warm leads into active customers
  • – Document all lead interactions and outcomes

Customer Relationship Management

  • – Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
  • – Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities
  • – Monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • – Build long-term relationships with clients
  • – Provide post-sale support and service

Team Collaboration

  • – Share successful sales strategies with team members
  • – Participate in sales team meetings and training sessions
  • – Contribute to the development of best practices
  • – Support team goals and objectives
  • – Engage in continuous learning and improvement

Required Qualifications

Education

  • – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • – Additional sales certifications are advantageous

Experience

  • – Minimum 6 months experience in telesales or digital sales
  • – Demonstrated track record in meeting sales targets
  • – Experience with CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • – Insurance industry experience is a plus
