Job Description
The Driver II will provide safe, reliable, and authorized transport services to support official Commission operations. This role is essential for day-to-day logistics, movement of staff and documents, and maintaining operational efficiency at the CAJ Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving the assigned vehicle as authorized to support official duties of the Commission.
- Ensuring safety and security of passengers, goods, and the vehicle at all times.
- Conducting routine checks on oil, brakes, cooling, electrical systems, and tyre pressure.
- Detecting, reporting, and documenting vehicle defects promptly.
- Ensuring timely servicing and routine maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
- Keeping accurate daily work tickets and vehicle logs.
- Complying fully with traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Supporting operational needs within Corporate Services as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- KCSE mean grade D or equivalent.
- Valid Class BCE driving licence free from endorsements.
- Occupational Trade Test Grade II and I for drivers.
- Passed suitability test for drivers.
- First Aid Certificate (minimum one week) from St. John Ambulance, KIHBIT, or a recognized institution.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- At least three (3) years of relevant driving experience.
- Completed driver refresher training within the last three (3) years.
- Proven merit and performance in previous roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate services driver jobs in Kenya.
- Previous work in a government or public sector institution.
- Knowledge of Nairobi road networks and national highways.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
