EACLJ Internship Program

The East African Center for Law and Justice (EACLJ) invites applications for its enriching Internship Program. This opportunity is open to students, professionals, and career changers passionate about human rights, good governance, public interest litigation, conflict resolution, women’s issues, and gender equality.

As an EACLJ intern, you will:

• – Receive comprehensive training on the organization, relevant issues, local laws, and advocacy methods
• – Contribute to impactful projects that promote civil rights and access to justice in Kenya
• – Enhance your professional skills through diverse responsibilities and immersive experiences
• – Broaden your global perspective through cross-cultural exchange and exposure to international tribunals

Program Highlights:

• – Duration: Minimum 3 months
• – Limited positions for up to 3 interns per session
• – Hands-on activities: Court/parliament visits, surveys, focus groups, writing for newsletter
• – Trips to Arusha to visit ICTR, African Court of Justice, EACJ, and East Africa Legislative Council
• – Mentorship and constructive feedback from EACLJ’s experienced staff
