The Church of Jesus Christ is seeking an exceptional Executive Administrative Assistant to support their Area Presidencies in Nairobi. This prestigious role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Church’s mission while working in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will serve as a key administrative professional, managing complex administrative functions and providing high-level support to Area Presidencies. This role combines strategic thinking with advanced administrative expertise in a faith-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Leadership

  • – Manage comprehensive executive-level administrative support, including calendar management and meeting coordination
  • – Orchestrate complex travel arrangements and logistics for senior leadership
  • – Serve as the primary point of contact between Area Presidencies and internal/external stakeholders
  • – Handle sensitive communications and maintain strict confidentiality

Document Management & Communication

  • – Draft, edit, and finalize high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • – Create and maintain detailed meeting minutes and action items
  • – Develop professional presentations using advanced Microsoft Office applications
  • – Manage complex documentation requiring attention to detail and accuracy

Project & Event Management

  • – Lead the coordination of large-scale events and meetings
  • – Monitor and track multiple projects simultaneously
  • – Ensure timely completion of deliverables and follow-up on action items
  • – Coordinate cross-functional activities and maintain project timelines

Financial Administration

  • – Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  • – Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • – Manage purchasing and deposit procedures
  • – Provide regular financial status updates to management

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration
  • – Minimum 3 years of executive-level administrative experience
  • – OR equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 7+ years
  • – Must be a current Temple Recommend holder

Technical Skills

  • – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • – Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • – Strong analytical and research capabilities
  • – Demonstrated ability to create professional documents and presentations

Personal Attributes

  • – Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • – Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • – Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • – Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • – In-depth understanding of Church doctrine, policies, and procedures

Physical Requirements

  • – Ability to sit for extended periods
  • – Capability to move around the office environment
  • – Proficiency in using computer equipment and monitors
