FES Kenya Internship Programme

The Nairobi Office of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) is offering a 3-month internship for students passionate about social issues and democratic values. As an FES intern, you will:

• – Work closely with the FES team on ongoing projects and activities
• – Contribute to research, event planning, documentation, and administration
• – Gain hands-on experience in an international political foundation
• – Collaborate with diverse staff and partners from various backgrounds
• – Deepen your understanding of FES’s social democratic principles and mission

Internship Requirements:

• – Current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, economics, development studies, peace/conflict studies, law or related field
• – Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities
• – Strong interest and alignment with FES’s ideologies and values
• – Commitment to obtaining international health insurance (required for foreign nationals)
  • – Valid visa documentation (required for foreign nationals)
