Job Description
The Corporate Communications Officer II position represents a strategic role within SHA’s communications department, responsible for managing various aspects of the Authority’s external and internal communications portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Event Management and Public Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute public events that promote SHA’s programs, services, and health initiatives across various communities and stakeholder groups
- Manage all logistical aspects of events including venue selection, vendor coordination, participant registration, and post-event evaluation
- Develop event concepts and themes that align with SHA’s strategic communications objectives and public health messaging priorities
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless event execution and maximum stakeholder engagement
Media Relations and Content Development
- Prepare comprehensive media briefs, press releases, and background materials for journalists and media outlets covering SHA activities
- Draft speeches, talking points, and presentations for senior management and Authority leadership for various public forums and engagements
- Develop radio and television infomercials that effectively communicate health messages and SHA initiatives to broad audiences
- Monitor media coverage and prepare media analysis reports to track public perception and communication effectiveness
Content Creation and Publications
- Collect, compile, and curate information for the preparation of the Authority’s newsletter and supplementary publications
- Write engaging articles, feature stories, and informational pieces that highlight SHA’s work, achievements, and impact on health service delivery
- Ensure all publications maintain consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and editorial standards
- Coordinate with graphic designers and external vendors for publication production and distribution
Strategic Communications Planning
- Develop innovative proposals for identifying and engaging appropriate media channels to disseminate information about Authority activities and programs

Required Qualifications
